Hand in hand … an uphill climb.

This picture was our last one all together. Each of us with our own internal battle within our minds, knowing the effort required to have the picture taken, knowing time was running out. Wondering, when, how … how will we cope, how will they cope. Gareth going through over & over what he was going to miss, what he hadn’t missed out on & what else could he do or say to set us on our own individual path of life after Gareth. ❤

He wasn’t afraid of leaving, he just wasn’t ready to. His climb was nearly over & ours was about to begin. We had more strength than him, it was visible… the strength we’ve discovered within ourselves since, has been a shock, it certainly wasn’t visible & I’m so proud of everyone in this picture …
