Holly is now 20, she was 19 when her Dad passed. At the time of his grim diagnosis she was in Australia … she had headed there for a year to work with a gorgeous friend, Emilie.

Emilie lost her Dad to cancer when she was young & was the best person to be with Holly at the time she received the call that is etched in her memory. Emilie, understood… could relate in a special way … I was so grateful at the time, as I couldn’t hug her ❤

Holly headed home a few days later, to face the situation at home & to jump into the small family business to help me keep the chaos at bay.

Emilie, meanwhile met an Australian, fell in love, returning a year later with the gorgeous Jake.

Now a few months on, Emilie is headed back to Australia on a one way ticket with her future life ahead … Holly has joined in on the first leg of the journey to spend 12 days in Thailand .. she returns today on her own after the no doubt emotional fairwell to Emilie.

Yesterday they had this etched onto each of their wrists to signify .. friendship, mutual understanding, Dads, love & the power of the stars. ❤ 🌟
