Admiration…

Looking at this photo of my two cheerleaders a feeling of admiration engulfs me.

When this was taken, a few weeks into devasting news about their Dad, which came from out of the blue… giving them a gift of an unknown exact quantity of time, with the certainty that it was to be brief.

Life had changed, an urgent flight from the other side of the world was boarded in the hope of beating the ticking timebomb.

This snapshot captures strength, acceptance, hope, support, gratitude & love. Along with uncertainty, fear & questions, many of which couldn’t be answered.

In our family bubble the admiration reflected from & supported us all. The strength to rise, to support & accept fully & wholeheartedly the situation, the reality.

Dwelling in the love & gratitude for what we had in front of our eyes, the times gone by, the positive aspects of life for us all… lingering in the gratitude state created the answers to some questions …. The answer was simple … there didn’t need to be one. Sometimes there are no answers.

The answer was maybe … Wow .. we LOVE who we were in the part of life that has gone. We are full of ADMIRATION of who we are now … the hope, strength, love & support we have & we radiate. We accept the situation. We feel excited about who we will become & trust our choices, our emotions & the life events that await.

Adult life awaits my cheerleaders … I’m of course their biggest cheerleader, however tough that can sometimes feel. The overwhelming admiration I have for them is off the scale.

Change is a constant in our lives, whichever stage or age we are at … I think you’ll agree.

Admire who you are, the paths you’ve navigated & above all know who your cheerleaders are.

Take a snapshot today … look back in admiration.
